Be sure to feed the fish!! lol just look to the right and scroll up and down to find the fishies! Just click and it gives them food. Comment below if you want me to change their colors! I was thinking PURPLE! :) Oh and what type of nail art do you want? Obviously it has to be easy because I am NOT a professional whatsoever. I think I'll put a poll for that.

Books With Jessaleigh #1 Pretty Little Liars

Hey everyone!I decided to do a book review on the series I am currently reading. I am on book 5 right now but I wanted to start from the begining. WARNING SPOLILER ALERT!
Book 1: Pretty Little Liars
The story introduces an exclusive group of friends: Alison, the perfect yet manipulative queen bee; Aria, an independent girl who is considered to be the weirdo in Rosewood; Emily, a dedicated swimmer who is secretly in love with Alison; Hanna, who strives to be thin and popular like Alison; and Spencer, an ambitious girl who is constantly competing against and at odds with Alison. Alison mysteriously disappears during a sleepover with the girls the night their seventh grade school year ends.
Three years later, the girls are no longer friends. Aria returns to Rosewood from a two and a half year trip to Iceland with her family and is much more sophisticated than she was when she left. She starts up a relationship with a man who turns out to be her AP English teacher. Emily befriends the new girl in town, Maya, and soon develops romantic feelings for her. Hanna, Rosewood's new "it" girl, struggles with shoplifting and bulimia. Spencer continues to compete with Melissa, her perfect older sister. She falls for Melissa's new boyfriend, Wren Kim.
Throughout the story, the girls receive messages from a person known as "A," who threatens to reveal their secrets of the present and past, including a horrible incident the girls refer to as "The Jenna Thing." They believe it is their missing friend, Alison, because she is the only one who knows all their secrets. However, they realize someone else is taunting them when the police find Ali's corpse buried in the backyard of her former house.
I really enjoy the tv show, too. I am really obsessed! I can't wait for the Halloween Special!
Sorry about the spoilers but I warned you!!!

DIY Lip Scrub

I recently lost my mint julip lip scrub by lush to my purse! Something dissapears for a bout 2 days then I find it again in my purse ruined! Now lush lip scrubs are really expensive like $10 for one 0.8oz jar. So i decided to wash out the destroyed lip scrub and use the container for another one. Here is the recipe I am using:
Vanilla Brown Sugar Lip Scrub 0.8 oz container
3 tsp. Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Olive Oil (Extra Virgin will work just not as moisturizing)
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Aloe Vera Gel
Directions: Mix the brown sugar and the olive oil together. If it becomes clumpy you've mixed to much and need to add more oive oil. Add alove vera gel and mix until a paste. Add the vanilla and mix throughly. If to liquidy add more sugar; vice versa.
Comment below or answer the survey if you want more flavors.

Nail Care

As requested here is my Nail Care post!

I start off with removing all of my old nail polish.
I use Sally Hansen Kwick Off.
Then I wash my hands and nails with a nail brush.
Then I apply cuticle oil.
I use Beauty Secrets Cuticle Oil/Instant Nail Polsih Drier.

Then I push back my cutciles with a cuticle pusher (  I think thats what you call it).

Then I cut or file my nails. If I file then i will use Revlon Glass Nail File.

Then I will put on OPI Natural Nail Base Coat because my nails are really thin and this is the only way I can get them from snapping in half.
Thank You for Reading!

How to Put In Feather Hair Extensions

Have you been seeing the new feather hair extensions? Are you thinking of getting one or getting another one? Didn't it cost, like, a whole bunch of money?
If you put it in yourself you save money! Wait a minute.. isn't the world a happier place with more money in your pocket?
Note: it is much easier to install these with a friend's help. Click on the pictures below to enlarge them.

Step 1

Decide where you would like to install your feather extension, then peel back a layer of hair to expose the roots. Gather a small strand of hair in your fingers, and make sure the roots are close together.

Step 2

Wrap the wire tool around the strand of hair. Take the two ends of the wire and thread them through the crimp bead. Pull the hair through the bead with the wire ends.

Step 3

Slide the crimp bead to the hair roots and carefully thread your feather bundle through the bead. Make sure the feathers stick all the way through.

Step 4

Use the pliers to firmly crimp the bead. To ensure comfort, crimp it in a way so it will lie flat against the head. If necessary, trim extra feathers sticking through the bead with scissors.

Removal

Your feather extensions should stay in for 2-4 months. To remove them earlier, take pliers and gently squeeze the crimp bead in the opposite direction until it is approximately O-shaped. Then, remove the feathers and slide the crimp bead out. The crimp beads are designed to only be used once, but the feathers can be installed over and over.

Wasn't that easy? NOW GO EAT A MARSHMALLOW!

OPI Drip Dry vs. OPI Rapid Dry Spray

OPI Drip Dry. Everyone says that it is wonderful. I agree! It dried my polish in a minute! I got the 1 oz. bottle and I would of totally gotten the bigger one if they had had it. I put 1 drop on each nail because I have really small hands resulting in small nail beds :(. It is really a great product! I got mine for $12.50.

OPI Rapid Dry Spray. Everyone says that it gives them bedsheet marks but that has not happened to me. I spray it on after I put 2 coats of polish and then OPI's Top Coat. Personally, I think it is a waste of product because you spray once and it gets all over your hands and mainly not your nails (which is what is was made for!your nails!). After I spray my nails, I mean hands lol, it smells really bad! Not like nail polish but a different chemical-ie smell. Which I do NOT want to smell like! But it cost a dollar less than the mini drip dry for a normal rapid dry spray.

As of  makeupally.com the reviews say that OPI Drip Dry has a rating of 4.1 out of 5, and the OPI Rapid Dry Spray it got a 3.6 out of 5. Clearly OPI Drip Dry is better.

Lush Lip Scrub Advice

Just a quick tip.
Don't put your mint julip lip scrub in your purse because it will become unscrewed and spill alllll over your purse making everything smell like mint. It was a waste of 10 bucks because I only had it for a week an I had only used it like 3 times. :(

Sally Hansens Growth 5-day Challenge

This is Sally Hansens Vitasurge Nail Growth Gel. I cut off my nails to the stub and then applied this to them. It was a very smooth application. The applicator is the same as lip gloss applicators. It dried clear and its not sticky at all. The bottle was very easy to open, which I like because I have the strength of a chipmunk. lol. I got mine at target for $5.49. I will get back to you at the end of the 5 days with before and after pics.

Manicure #1

Hey gals! Thanks for checking out my blog! If you follow me I will follow you!
So I recently painted my nails "Mochachino" by Essie.
I love it!! It looks brown in some lights and gray sparkly in others.
The first coat was real thin but the sceond coat brought out the true color. If you are looking for something different for fall, this is the color! I wore it to with a turquoise shirt and it brought out the true green in my eyes (as I was told).
