I've been busy. But here is a tutorial on this cute braid.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTMaKFZ0EOlXB7pITc7nFgQbKCxVwWAwZi8RGRdlWV5vrtOMuPShed-xWw7tyhRSVpgJHzPpP5gWowWnQmTG-P9AWheV8YuLBDrv7xDNeV1SpamB9WHfzePoc5fWv0srDhr_jwspsFosBI/s1600/hippie+braid.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTMaKFZ0EOlXB7pITc7nFgQbKCxVwWAwZi8RGRdlWV5vrtOMuPShed-xWw7tyhRSVpgJHzPpP5gWowWnQmTG-P9AWheV8YuLBDrv7xDNeV1SpamB9WHfzePoc5fWv0srDhr_jwspsFosBI/s320/hippie+braid.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>Materials:<br />
Hair long enough to stretch across your head.<br />
Bobby pins<br />
Hair clips<br />
Cupcake<br />
Instructions:<br />
1. Make sure your hair is tangle free and smooth. Also make sure your part is in the correct place.<br />
2. Gather a small piece of hair about 2 cm wide.<br />
3. Section your hair into 3 pieces and begin the braid.<br />
4. Braid once then pull the piece of hair across your forehead. <br />
5. Continue to braid across your head in this angle<br />
* Be sure to angle the braid or else you will get a bumpy lump on the side of your head and that is not attractive*<br />
6. When the braid is of the desired length pick up a small piece of hair about 4 cm wide and flip it over to the other side of your head.<br />
7. Get 2 bobby pins and in a downwards motion pin the braid in place. If you put the bobby pins in an upward motion then your hair will stick up ( atleast mine did).<br />
8. Add any hair clip of your choice (or none at all).<br />

Here is a blog on how to grow your nails out. Sorry this is kinda long.<br />
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZupPlhBKqY5HMQlKEqQWLjWzvKBKEO2sEuXpONrl4JkZZ5hLLIQ7xPd_PgiF_E4MnT7CG9zKR0PqqUo_7Wej6eitDKTteSwchrvoBbwVg9cUUAOzdq9wUJULjn4qOrgaMihmxNSI-ZuLA/s1600/healthy+nails.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZupPlhBKqY5HMQlKEqQWLjWzvKBKEO2sEuXpONrl4JkZZ5hLLIQ7xPd_PgiF_E4MnT7CG9zKR0PqqUo_7Wej6eitDKTteSwchrvoBbwVg9cUUAOzdq9wUJULjn4qOrgaMihmxNSI-ZuLA/s1600/healthy+nails.jpg" /></a></div><strong>Nail Polish Remover- </strong>So basically you want to look for non-acetone polish remover. And if you can try to see if you can find one with proteins or better yet keratin. Your nails are made of keratin so a nail polish remover that includes keratin is just a win win situation. The nail polish remover that I use is just the target brand of non- acetone nail polish remover. I got the pink one that includes proteins. Some nail polish removers contain <a href="http://www.bitrex.com/">bitrex</a> which is the most bitter thing known to man. So be careful not to let your pet be near this just in case.(plus the alcohol) Be sure to have a fan running or the window open when ever you use nail polish remover because the fumes can be <span style="padding-bottom: 14px; padding-right: 15px;">nauseous. Wow thats a lot on nail polish remover.</span><br />
<span style="padding-bottom: 14px; padding-right: 15px;"><strong>Cuticle Oil-</strong> You want to get a good cuticle oil or lotion because this is what hydrates your nail beds... Hydrated nail beds= Healthy nail beds.. healthy nail beds= long nails! Which is the ultimate goal. You should never clip your cuticles because your cuticles protect your skin from harmful bacteria. Instead get a cuticle pusher and well push your cuticles back. Make sure that your cuticle oil is toluene free. The cuticle oil that i use is the one from Beauty Secrets it is toluene and formaldehyde free. Also get a good lotion t</span><span style="padding-bottom: 14px; padding-right: 15px;">hat is made for hands AND cuticles. This will keep them SUPER moistuized.</span><br />
<span style="padding-bottom: 14px; padding-right: 15px;"><strong>Filing-</strong> Just make sure that you file from the outside in... not back and forth. This is just going to prevent your nails from breaking easily. I know that you are thinking "Why do i need to file my nails? I'm trying to grow them not make them shorter!" You still need to keep your nails in tip top shape( shape lol) to make them grow straight and pretty. You don't want grow your nails out then have to cut them down and shape them to make them look prettier.</span><br />
<span style="padding-bottom: 14px; padding-right: 15px;"><strong>Extras-</strong> Be sure to eat a balanced diet with keratin foods or maybe a vitamin. Apply a strengthening polish if needed. You may need to buff your nails if they are peeling. Try not to soak your nails in water for too long.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="padding-bottom: 14px; padding-right: 15px;">NOW GO EAT A CUPCAKE!</span><br />

Heatless Curls- Version 2Hey Gals.. I decided that i wanted to have curls for our christmas family dinner. But my friend <em>still</em> has my curling iron so I thought I could just do a different version just for YOU!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjf2HQsLyf-DBlN7pgLtROgQYUrsFQ1jDt7eXhPOkElSXYUnZR1edBFoWMQzWJXmNDSBiFIDih8MxhG3xC9iByykMWjZDbXMIXPCqdypyxV733F98eXW62tCPkwwNz1Zt9h3uWehOL5R0Dm/s1600/DSCN0023.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjf2HQsLyf-DBlN7pgLtROgQYUrsFQ1jDt7eXhPOkElSXYUnZR1edBFoWMQzWJXmNDSBiFIDih8MxhG3xC9iByykMWjZDbXMIXPCqdypyxV733F98eXW62tCPkwwNz1Zt9h3uWehOL5R0Dm/s320/DSCN0023.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>And this is a real picture of the back of my head! LOL NO WAY!<br />
Materials:<br />
Water Sprayer<br />
Comb<br />
Hair Tye<br />
Bobbypins<br />
Lightweight Hairspray<br />
Cupcake<br />
Instructions:<br />
1. Comb through hair to make sure it is tangle free.<br />
2. Lightly spray hair with water sprayer.<br />
3. Section your hair into 2 sections along your part.<br />
4. Grab about a 1-3 inch section ( the bigger the section the bigger the curl: the smaller the section the smaller the curl... come on guys its not rocket science) and douse it in water get it really soaked then make a loop ( again big= big: small=small).<br />
5. Slowly roll that loop toward the top of your head.<br />
6. Next take a bobbypin and secure it at the top of your head. ( hence the name PIN curls).<br />
7. You may need to grab a couple more bobbypins... it depends on your hairtype.<br />
8. Continue around your head and when you reach the last couple pieces that are closest to your face stop.<br />
9. TWIST your hair THEN do the roll. This keeps your hair out of your eyes.<br />
10. Then you can wrap your hair up or whatever you want.<br />
11. Wait until it is COMPLETELY dry until you take it out... I waited 3 hours because my cousins were also doing this so we had a fun time talking and hanging out and everything.<br />
12. Lightly spray with your lightweight hair spray. This helps the curls stay longer!<br />
13. EAT CUPCAKE!!<br />

Materials:<br />
Dove Extra Hold Hairspray-with natural movement.<br />
Two Hair Tyes<br />
Bobbypins<br />
Water Sprayer Bottle<br />
Cupcake<br />
Instructions:<br />
1. Either take a shower and let your hair partially dry or wet your hair with a water sprayer bottle. You want it to be damp not wet or dry.<br />
2.Seperate your hair into two sections. <br />
3. Take one side and twist it into one big spiral.<br />
4. Spin it onto a bun and use the hair tye to pin it in place. Use the bobbyoins if needed.<br />
5. Do the same for the other side.<br />
6. Take a lightweight hairspray and even though the bottle says 8-10 inches away go ahead and do it 1-2 inches away. Soak your hair. Litterally.<br />
7. Either wait 2 hrs or sleep in it. The longer you have it in the more defined the curls will be. If you do not wait long enough you will have one big mess of wet tangles.<br />
8. Eat a cupcake while you are waiting.<br />
9.After you take it out run your fingers through it to get any unwanted tangles out of it.Jessaleighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03811824383383062865noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5163046160962172142.post-465806974260234352011-12-19T21:15:00.000-06:002011-12-19T21:15:07.546-06:00Manicure #7Hey Girrrls! Materials:<br />
Base Coat<br />
Sally Hansen- Celeb City (<a href="http://purplecupcake-jessaleigh.blogspot.com/2011/10/manicure-2.html">http://purplecupcake-jessaleigh.blogspot.com/2011/10/manicure-2.html</a>)<br />

5. Eat cupcake. :)Jessaleighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03811824383383062865noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5163046160962172142.post-62852920746519371902011-12-17T21:47:00.000-06:002011-12-17T21:47:37.202-06:00Panda LipsHey Everybody!!! First make sure that your lips are smooth with out any major cracks in them.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">2. Then apply a concealer to make sure it lasts as long as possible, make sure to get it in the corners of your mouth. Also bring it up to your nose a little bit.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">3. Paint on the white face paint across your lips make sure to get it opaque as possible.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">4. Then take your white eyeshadow and pat it on. This will set the face paint.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">5. Take the black face paint and out line the eyes then slowly feather it in. Make sure finally it is fully filled in. Leave a tiny white circle in the middle.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">6. Go over the white circle with more face paint. This is the highlight.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">7. Make a tiny black nose using the same method.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">9. This is wear the concealer that you brought up a little bit come in. Make two black ears following the same method you used to make the eyes and nose.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">10. Normally you would go over the black face paint with black eyeshadow, but my only black eyeshadow was sparkly so it did not match at all.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">11. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://encrypted-tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTfv9U_poBHaLKPvf6H6IhOwuWXD1YHITNn9fNSF6x0u5pvFux49Q" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" border="0" class="rg_hi" data-height="152" data-width="200" id="rg_hi" src="https://encrypted-tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTfv9U_poBHaLKPvf6H6IhOwuWXD1YHITNn9fNSF6x0u5pvFux49Q" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">1. To remove stains mix 1 tsp of lemon juice and 1 cup of water and soak for 3 minutes, then was with warm water and moisturize..</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">3. To prevent yellowing give your nails a break from nail polish every once in a while.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">5. If you have brittle nails eat more Vitamin B and MSM.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">7. Heres a new trick you probably didn't know: file your nails WITH the nail polish on. This will prevent splitting or breaking.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">8.If you have brittle nails wear nail Polish more often to strengthen your nails over time.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">9. It makes my hair sooo soft!!! So after you wash your hair you apply this JUST TO THE ENDS of your hair. If you put this higher than your ears you WILL have greasy hair! Then normally i shave my legs or wash my body or something else too pass the time. You don't have to wait exactly 3 minutes. Normally i wait 2-5 minutes but you don't want to wait too long or your hair will get greasy. Then rinse it out. Your hair will be soooo soft! NOW GO EAT A CUPCAKE!Jessaleighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03811824383383062865noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5163046160962172142.post-46749406832221485512011-11-15T20:41:00.000-06:002011-11-15T20:41:41.291-06:00My Favorite MascaraHey gals. Here is my fav mascara.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0HMe8modv7Sx7Wsb-bN_NTK5wenDdU0kpkS5dzZ7boOMcDiPDWGc8q_UudZMe0DJkSQy9DLeF3LTM2OGzJMnAnj4lG95HbEJIvYSdQThuDizoD80GrHAz44Jih4DeNx4CqeTp_lvvzLOz/s1600/MaryKayUltimateMascara.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0HMe8modv7Sx7Wsb-bN_NTK5wenDdU0kpkS5dzZ7boOMcDiPDWGc8q_UudZMe0DJkSQy9DLeF3LTM2OGzJMnAnj4lG95HbEJIvYSdQThuDizoD80GrHAz44Jih4DeNx4CqeTp_lvvzLOz/s320/MaryKayUltimateMascara.jpg" width="320" /></a>Mary Kay's Ultimate Mascara in Black. I think it makes my eyelashes very long and vulumonous. And it is water<em> resistant</em> so it won't come off if you cry or its raining outside but if you take a q-tip and makeup remover and water it will come off without you scrubbing your eyes off. It comes in at $15 which is kind of pricey but i think it is totally worth it. There are probably better mascaras out there but if i get this one i don't have to pay because my mom will buy it for me! yay! but if i get a different kind then i will have to pay for it:( but you know i still love it so i still use it.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">NOW GO EAT A CUPCAKE! love ya</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Jessaleigh</div>Jessaleighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03811824383383062865noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5163046160962172142.post-57746651301367411402011-11-12T22:11:00.000-06:002011-11-12T22:11:54.468-06:00The Perfect Red Lip<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicj6ao00EjrSd-uetmoRUuSOKQf51qxHiuDvWMnQaVS6bymcobHaOUhe1wycXWBKLBy3IaadZ0KvcxSrFHpqDZY1XFuIMEdkWZCD1YZhxYhoYHwpzlB9x1XEQ7PdUXDbyfc5ak6wE380sD/s1600/Red+Lips.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicj6ao00EjrSd-uetmoRUuSOKQf51qxHiuDvWMnQaVS6bymcobHaOUhe1wycXWBKLBy3IaadZ0KvcxSrFHpqDZY1XFuIMEdkWZCD1YZhxYhoYHwpzlB9x1XEQ7PdUXDbyfc5ak6wE380sD/s1600/Red+Lips.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Hey gals this is just a tutorial on how to pull of these awesome red lips!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Materials:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv0-_JIXfmTtTtDOMeCHUgjbzgV1WMOeL2rdFSLs8u9Vk5_e5t2zZzHBMvPomVS8ENHULQt8vVt51Sg81YKs_GjqVSqS7QxlSofw_Suyc4BCizWwhkySAe16xIQSJ6m0Gt68WCuaLIsKHT/s1600/red+lip+liner.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv0-_JIXfmTtTtDOMeCHUgjbzgV1WMOeL2rdFSLs8u9Vk5_e5t2zZzHBMvPomVS8ENHULQt8vVt51Sg81YKs_GjqVSqS7QxlSofw_Suyc4BCizWwhkySAe16xIQSJ6m0Gt68WCuaLIsKHT/s320/red+lip+liner.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

- white eyeliner<br />
Step 1: Line your lips with the lip liner and slowly and evenly feather it to the center.<br />
Step 2: Go over your lips with your red lipstick you can use a lip brush but i find that it works the same.<br />
Step 3: Take your concealer and a small flat brush and outline your lips with it. This will give you a clean look and make it look perfect!<br />
Step 4: Take your white eyeliner and line the cupids bow, the outside corners and the bottom lip area. This will make you lips look fuller. If your skin is darker take a super light pink and line super close to you lips.<br />
Step 5: Eat cupcake. Kidding. That would ruin the red lip you just created.<br />
Lining your top lashes with a red eyeliner and then putting just a little bit of white eyeshadow then applying a thick coat of black mascara will make you stand out majorly.<br />
If you are going for a sublte look ( well, as sublte as a red lip can go) i sugges to do a natural eye makeup with a rosy pink blush to make you look happy and healthy.<br />

Aren't they CUTE?! They are White Mountain Pinwheel in Brown/Suede. They are really slimming to your legs and I think that they make me look taller... brownie points! The silver buckle adds a point of interest which is really cute. They are round toed which I'm not sure i like but it adds some softness to the shoe. I got it for $70.00 and in case you were wondering I am a size 6. It has a slight thickness to the bottom which makes me almost an inch taller which is good because i am only 4ft 9in. i know.... im short :D Comment below if you want some tips in making yourself look taller. :)Jessaleighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03811824383383062865noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5163046160962172142.post-1568067718723599752011-11-04T22:30:00.001-05:002011-11-04T22:33:19.607-05:00Hair Growing Tips<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEYPom9Tac6Qtnhwb9EYvaprjNJ7W9v89nG50ntCYZ6_89BJp0_plajhIOZM9FyukBqb8fmMkXHUl51RDEKEsNO5PsLNTFRw2U07WiR-niLKvKX-KD98g-eWSHIG-pDd1VMTmaAFBcsc8I/s1600/healthy+hair.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="255" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEYPom9Tac6Qtnhwb9EYvaprjNJ7W9v89nG50ntCYZ6_89BJp0_plajhIOZM9FyukBqb8fmMkXHUl51RDEKEsNO5PsLNTFRw2U07WiR-niLKvKX-KD98g-eWSHIG-pDd1VMTmaAFBcsc8I/s320/healthy+hair.jpg" width="320" /></a>These are 5 tips on how to get healthier hair.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">1.DRINK MORE WATER!!!! I really want to stress on this. You should drink half of your body weight in ounces... everyday! I weigh 95 pounds and that means I need to dink 6 cups a day!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I normally get around 4 or 5.. but i probably need that extra cup!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">2.Eat healthier. It is pretty simple just don't eat a bunch of junk and try to squeeze in another fruit. I don't really like fruit so i eat yogurt so i am getting the calcium and (some) nutrients from the fruit in the yogurt but you want to make sure it is all natural to get the full benefit.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">3. Getting into bed? Pull out that hair tye! Sleeping with your hair tyed up even if its loose can do some serious damage to your hair cuticles and it can pull and snap your hair as you sleep without you noticing it! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">4. Try a deep conditioner. I use Aussie 3 Minute Miracle every couple of days. i work this through the ends of my hair and wait 3-5 minutes remembering that the longer you have it in the more the benefit... too long and it can make your hair greasy. Then i rinse it out in the shower and comb through my hair feeling how soft and healthy it is.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">5. Take a Vitamin. Everyone says to take Vitamin E, Vitamin D, Vitamin 3487 or whatever its called. I'm not sure which one is better for making my hair healthier and grow longer, stronger, and faster. So I just take a Multi- Vitamin. This will help with making your hair, nails, skin, and much more much healthier. And since it is a multi vitamin it probably has extra stuff to make you healthier.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">lol if you pulled out your hair tye as you read number 3.</div>Jessaleighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03811824383383062865noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5163046160962172142.post-21981984897591559812011-10-23T14:46:00.000-05:002011-10-23T14:46:02.762-05:00Whats In My Pencil Case?Hey Everyone!
